Grilled Fruit with Mango Cream

Ingredients

1 overripe mango
1/2 overripe banana
1 tablespoon honey
1 pineapple, peeled and cut into 1-inch slices
2 pears, cored and sliced 1/2-inch thick
1 apple, cored and sliced 1/2-inch thick
pint strawberries, halved
1 mango, peeled and slice 1/2-inch thick
1/2 bunch mint
ounces heavy cream, whipped to soft peaks
4 ounces sour cream


Method

Blend together the overripe mango and the banana with the honey. Fold the whipped cream and sour cream into the blended fruit and set aside.

Preheat the grill to medium heat. Grill the pineapple, pear and apple slices until they begin to brown. Turn them over, add the strawberries and brown on the second side.

Arrange a platter with the mango around the outside of the platter. Place the pineapple, pears, and apples in the center and place the strawberries on top.

Place dollops of the mango cream around the platter and garnish with mint
