BLUEBERRY & CHOCOLATE BLACK BOTTOM PIE

tbsp. Heavy cream
2 tbsp. milk
1 ½ cup milk chocolate chips
2 tsp. Of vanilla
1 store bought prepared cookie crumb crust
12 oz. Room temperature cream cheese
½ cup confectioners sugar
1/3 cup toasted silvered almonds
4 ½ cups cleaned blueberries, about 1 ½ pints
1/3 cup blueberry preserves
1 cup whipped cream for garnish
4 sprigs of mint

In a sauce pan melt the milk and chocolate in a double boiler over medium
heat until smooth. Remove from heat and mix in1 tsp. Of the vanilla.
2. Pour mixture over cookie crumb shell and allow to cool until chocolate
is firm.
3. Mix together the cream cheese, 1 tsp of remaining vanilla and sugar.
4. Spread mixture over the top of the chocolate and spread almonds over
it.
5. Evenly spread the blueberries over the almonds.
6. Melt the blueberry preserves over low heat until smooth.
7. Pour preserves over the top and cover. Refrigerate 2 hours until firm.
8. Slice and serve with whip cream and mint sprigs
